Inside the Studio: variations, angles, and specs

The three kinds of output a generation can produce, and how the settings multiply.

Three kinds of output

  • A variation is the piece itself — the front-on render of one design direction.
  • Angles are additional views generated from a variation: left, right, top, bottom, back.
  • A spec is a reference sheet generated from the variation plus your inputs — the piece broken down for review.

How the settings multiply

Studio settings let you request one to four variations, and optionally multi-angle renders (two to six angles) and a spec sheet. Angles and specs repeat for each variation, so the image count is variations times angles plus spec. Four variations with four angles each is a lot of images — start narrow, then widen.

Smart modes

Smart Diamonds and Smart Enamel decide stone architecture and enamel work from the design itself. Switch either to manual when you want to call the shots — pave density, stone shapes, enamel zones — and leave them on smart when you want the design logic to handle it.
